This work was executed in the program of Bovine of Milk and Meat of the experimental property Maria of property of the Technical State University of Quevedo, located in the Km 7 ½ of the road Quevedo – the Connection, county of Rios, The investigation had a duration of 84 days. 12 calves Brown Swiss was used with an approximate weight of 65 – 184 Kg, and with an age average of 2 - 6 months. The design of blocks was used at random in (DBCA) factorial arrangement 4 x 4 four types of having balanced by four periods with three repetitions, to determine differences among stockings of treatments, they were compared using the test of multiple ranges of (Tukey (P≥ 0,05) The variables in study were: food consumption, gain of weight, nutritious conversion and economic analysis. The results were the biggest food consumption based on matter he/ she dries off he/she obtained with Balanced alibaec (117,28 total Kg). with the one balanced of UTEQ the best gain of weight (55.80 Kg) was obtained. The nutritious most efficient conversion reported it Balanced UTEQ (2.42). The best relationship benefits cost he/she met with the treatment Nutril (0,37 USD). |

The best relationship benefits cost he/she met with the treatment Nutril (0,37 USD).La carne de bobino es un producto de consumo masivo en los mercados nacionales e internacionales, representa para nuestros productores una actividad muy importante desde el punto de vista económico considerando que en nuestro medio se utiliza la tradicional forma de crianza de terneros, es decir, a base de leche por prolongados períodos de tiempo, representando esto un déficit en los ingresos del productor, razón por la cuál se ejecutó esta investigación, siendo nuestro objetivo principal evaluar la utilización de cuatro concentrados más forraje en la alimentación de terneros Brown Swiss, para determinar el efecto de los mismos sobre la producción de peso y desarrollo de carne, utilizándose los siguientes concentrados para cada tratamiento: T1 Pasto + Balanceado Pronaca, T2 Pasto + Balanceado Nutril, T3 Pasto + Balanceado Alibae, T4 Pasto + Balanceado UTEQ. Este trabajo se ejecutó en el programa de bovinos de leche y carne de la finca experimental La María de propiedad de la Universidad Técnica Estatal de Quevedo, localizada en el Km 7 ½ de la vía Quevedo – El Empalme, Provincia de los Ríos. La investigación tuvo una duración de 84 días. Se utilizaron 12 terneros Brown Swiss con un peso aproximado de 65 – 198 Kg y una edad promedio de 2 – 6 meses. Se empleó un diseño de bloques al azar (DBCA) en arreglo factorial 4 x 4 cuatro tipos de balanceados por cuatro períodos con tres repeticiones, para determinar diferencias entre medias de tratamientos, fueron comparadas usando la prueba de rangos múltiples de Tukey (P≥ 0,05). Las variables en estudio fueron: consumo de alimento, ganancia de peso, conversión alimenticia y análisis económico. Los resultados fueron: El mayor consumo de alimento en base a materia seca se obtuvo con el Balanceado Alibaec (117,28 Kg total). Con el balanceado de la UTEQ se obtuvo la mayor ganancia de peso (55.80 Kg). La conversión alimenticia más eficiente la reporto el Balanceado de la UTEQ (2,42).
