Summary:The elaboration of the present investigation, had as objective to analyze the budgetary management of the Health District 12D03 Quevedo-Mocache, and its incidence in the application of public policies. For the development of this theme, the contextual framework was carried out, in which the location and contextualization of the problem, its current situation, the research problem, its delimitation, objectives and justification were detailed. Next, the conceptual, theoretical and legal foundation of the theoretical framework of the investigation was elaborated. As part of the methodology, the types of research used were explanatory, descriptive and field research, the inductive, deductive and analytical method was used, the population and sample were defined with the techniques and instruments used, as well as the elaboration process. , collection, processing and information. Among the most relevant results obtained, due to the decrease in the budget allocated by the central government, the Health District 12D03 Quevedo – Mocache, came to depend on the Health Zone V and the central Plant to be able to make budgetary movements, there are budget items that are not 100% executed and in other cases Central Plant does not allocate a budget, and from the institution's POA, it can be seen that some activities are not 100% executed. It is concluded that currently this district does not have sufficient resources and does not have autonomy to execute its own budget. It is recommended that optimize the provision and training of human talent, investments in infrastructure and equipment, improvement of the quality of the provision of services, and the other elements that require the availability of sufficient resources and their efficient management to contribute to the sustainability of the system.
