סיכום:Tourism is a means of sustainable development in Ecuador, as a social phenomenon it has a great impact on the cultural growth of a people, both the one that exports tourism and the one that receives it. The present research work had the general objective of analyzing the design of an ecological tourism plan in the city of Quevedo. The methodology used was qualitative and quantitative, the formula was applied to determine the sample, according to the population given by the INEC. A survey was applied to potential consumers of the tourist center. The Excel program was used for data analysis. The results The study was able to determine that the tourist center will have a high demand (95%) and the main impacts of the project were in the social, economic, business, educational and mainly environmental spheres. In addition, it is necessary to manage an adequate operational, supervision and security structure, whose operation is of paramount importance to channel an effective administration that achieves the proper functioning of the promotional plan. The causes of these problems, low rates of tourism in Quevedo, is that the business proposals dedicated to tourism and environmental care have not been properly managed, since most tourism companies are managed empirically and with low investment, for Therefore, it is not possible to know exactly what product the local tourist market needs, which causes waste in marketing to offer an unsatisfactory or repetitive service.
