Streszczenie:Human talent management has become the fundamental basis for optimizing public health services around the world. In this way, this research seeks to know how Human Talent Management affects the quality of public service in the critical area of APH at the Quevedo General Hospital? For this reason, the main objective was established, which was: Evaluate the impact of human talent management on the quality of public service in the critical area of the APH at the General Hospital of Quevedo, 2022. The type of research was field, bibliographical and descriptive. Inductive and deductive methods were applied. The population under study was 663 people (collaborators and users). The sample being 232 users; while an interview was held with the managers. Obtaining as results that the current situation of human talent management in service optimization reveals a complex and challenging panorama in human talent management. Likewise, 55% of the staff consider they are trained to provide quality care in the health area, and 45% rated the care as Very good. Concluding that, the Quevedo General Hospital faces important challenges in talent management in key areas. However, despite narrowing career gaps, factors such as unfavorable geography and civil violence remain barriers to attracting and retaining qualified talent.
