Propuesta de una nueva distribución de planta en el area de producción en la empresa Wil PAC S:A: en la fabricación de bandas transportadoras de piso

This research work was carried out with the purpose of optimizing the production in the manufacturing process of floor conveyor belts in the WIL-PAC company, thereby reducing unnecessary costs incurred over the years such as Unexpected stoppages, delays, interruption in processes. The new plant redistribution focuses on solving or minimizing these problems that have been occurring in the process such as poor coordination in the manufacturing time, the unproductive time of some workers, non-compliance in the delivery time etc. The main objective of the project is to reduce the aforementioned problems by making a proposal in the manufacturing process of conveyor belts, evaluating the current process and comparing it with the new proposal, thereby determining the effectiveness of the new redistribution. The company currently applies the distribution by process which is not the correct one for the manufacture of this type of machinery, therefore it is proposed to change the distribution of plant by a new one (distribution of plant by fixed position) since due to the large dimensions and the exaggerated weight of it is the appropriate distribution in this type of process. With the new proposal it is planned to reduce the great distances and eliminate the interruptions that they present, causing delays in the process. The first chapter focuses on the analysis of the current process in the manufacture of floor conveyor belts performing time studies, flow chart, route diagram, type of distribution applied by the company, current state of the machinery involved in the process . The second chapter identifies the type of distribution currently applied by the company to propose the most appropriate in the manufacture of this type of machinery. The third chapter seeks to reorder necessary spaces for material movement, storage, equipment and / or production lines to optimize this type of process.
