Summary:The purpose of this case study was to provide comprehensive nursing care, obtaining excellent results and great acceptance by the patient. An approach is carried out through exhaustive research on the pathology, a correct anamnesis, assessing and collecting data provided by the patient and her caregiver. Pulmonary hypertension is a complication that can occur from birth or during the first years of life, being a very important clinical challenge in the life of those who suffer from it, presenting serious complications throughout their development. You must undergo appropriate pharmacological medical treatment and control to treat said pathology. The applied nursing interventions were focused on several nursing diagnoses Nanda, Nic and Noc, through the clinical manifestations presented by the patient, relating each of them to the eleven functional patterns of Marjory Gordon, with the aim of addressing quality care. comprehensive health appropriately, with the purpose of providing a better lifestyle, where the main objective is to provide optimal and effective care to the patient. Where the importance of education about the disease, emotional support from the family and self-care is highlighted. Aspects such as nutrition, decreased activity tolerance, insomnia and, lastly, impaired social interaction are addressed; each pattern was intervened by nursing care. The care and interventions proposed and carried out on the patient have been able to improve her condition and lifestyle. It must be taken into account that the implementation of care for the patient must be permanent, seeking new strategies and care that contribute to the patient's quality of life and can face new challenges that may arise in the future.
