Sumario:This research was conducted in the Hda “SITIO NUEVO” CHONG─QUI, Group exhibition "La Marina", Quevedo Canton, Province of Los Ríos. Located between the coordinates 79 ° 27 'west longitude and 01 ° 06' south latitude to 102 meters. Was raised general objective: To evaluate the performance of four clones of oil palm (Elaeis guineensis Jacq.) In the process of acclimatization in the pre-nursery and specific: Establish what palm clones responsive to acclimation and acclimatization Establish costs of the clones in the pre-nursery. We used four palm clones which were planted in moist chambers within the pre-nursery for the acclimatization process. Was applied completely randomized design (DCA) with three replications and 10 experimental units per repetition. For comparison of means between treatments was used “prueba de Duncan” The clones did not show statistical significance in the variables, number of leaves, stem thickness and apical growth. The plant height was observed statistical significance, being SABRE larger clone. The highest percentage of survival in the acclimatization process in prenursery was obtained with clone TITAN with 94.67% being the best acclimated. The clones more resistant to climatic factors (hours / lux, temperature, humidity, etc.) were followed TITAN clones Sabre. The highest mortality was observed in clone PRINCE (70.3%), while the lowest percentage was recorded in TITAN, which proved the most resistant to drought. The highest return was for treatment TITAN with 23.06 percent.
