Shrnutí:Scabies is a parasitic infestation caused by the mite Sarcoptes Scabiei Var Hominis. It is considered a disease of global relevance that presents challenges in both diagnosis and treatment. It causes an impact on the quality of life of patients and, in some cases, leads to serious complications such as secondary bacterial infections. This case study focuses on determining nursing care in recurrent over-infected scabies in pediatric patients and improving the patient's quality of life, keeping in mind that not treating it adequately causes alterations at a psychological and physical level, to decrease. the impact that this condition causes, a series of nursing interventions were created, calculating the assessment of functional patterns and the Nanda, Noc and Nic taxonomy that are aimed at providing a favorable environment at the extra-hospital and in-hospital level, relevant actions were prioritized. , such as pain management, promoting sleep and rest, and promoting a better quality of life through actions that improve activity and exercise. These care plans led to a favorable recovery for the patient, especially in the management of the lesions caused by the Sarcoptes Scabiei Var Hominis mite, and prevented possible complications. The analysis of the results of the nursing care plans executed on the patient has been highly satisfactory, effectively meeting the established objectives.
