| Summary: | The project "Optimization of the Online Credit Process for Beneficiaries of the Human Development Bond (BDH) at BanEcuador, Quevedo, 2024" aims to improve the efficiency of the credit granting process for BDH beneficiaries through technological tools. Currently, beneficiaries face cumbersome procedures, long waiting times, and limited access, which hinder their ability to obtain timely financing. The research adopted a mixed approach, combining descriptive, exploratory, and field methods, employing surveys of BDH beneficiaries and interviews with credit experts in simplified models. Statistical analysis tools were also applied to identify the main deficiencies. The results indicated that the current process lacks clarity and standardization, with 38% of respondents unfamiliar with the procedures. This lack of knowledge leads to delays and negatively impacts the perception of the service, which is unfavorable in 27% of cases. Additionally, technological and digital literacy barriers were identified, affecting 44% of the population. On the other hand, the implementation of simplified models has optimized resource allocation, reduced response times, and improved user perception of the service, achieving 65% favorable opinions. It is concluded that optimizing the process is essential to ensure more equitable and efficient access to credit, emphasizing the need to incorporate advanced technologies and training strategies for both beneficiaries and BanEcuador staff. |
