| Resumo: | The National Association of Oil Palm Growers, ANCUPA constitutes the October 29, 1970 and approved by the Ministry of Social Welfare and Labour, by resolution No. 815 of December 30, 1970. In December 2007, for approval of the General Assembly of the Association, Ministry of Agriculture, issued a favorable report to the recent reform laws and change of name, graduating to ANCUPA as the National Association of Oil Palm Growers with the purpose of bringing together all people who are dedicated to the cultivation of oil palm and the extraction of crude palm oil and palm kernel .. Currently in Ecuador there are over 6,000 oil palm, of which 78% are small palm growers with less than 50 hectares are planted about 240,000 hectares of oil palm, palm trees located in 5 areas: Quinindé, La Concordia, Quevedo, the East and San Lorenzo, whose production is absorbed by 40 oil extraction plants and 5 Red palm kernel oil extraction. The framework for action is pillar ANCUPA protecting the interests of farmers, and promoting cooperation and mutual assistance among them. Also, the dissemination of new research for the appropriate use of soils. ANCUPA-Quevedo used a Strategic Plan, as it will emphasize the improvement of administrative management and the personal service and a close relationship with or clients. It can encourage local investors to direct their capital to this productive area, and create a diversification of industry, non-traditional plants that transforms raw materials for industrial processes, favoring the creation of new jobs both in the agricultural sector and in industry. The analysis methodology used for the development of this thesis is identified as a tool in science and technology, which was obtained by collecting statistical information generated, for subsequent processing and analysis based on the information provided and the steps outlined in the Strategic Plan ANCUPA-Quevedo. The results obtained in the investigation of alternative development to demonstrate financial sustainability conditions, social and environmental and integrated with the entire production chain (production, processing, marketing and distribution), or Acquired corporate culture by related producers. |
