Summary:This research was conducted at the Association of Nurserymen "Seeding the Future" located 6½ km of Via Quevedo - El Empalme, between April and July 2016. Its objective was to evaluate the effect of Magnesium and Zinc Metalosato on development patterns of cacao (Theobroma cacao L.) CCN-51 and BMI-67. For the present study, a 3 x 2 factorial arrangement being as the first factor A Metalosatos (zinc, magnesium, non-chelated), as a second factor of two patterns cocoa (CCN-51 and BMI-67) was used. Within a Completely Random Design (DCA) with 5 repetitions, where the variables percentage of germination, stem diameter, number of leaves, plant height, number of dead plants at the end of the experiment were evaluated. To demonstrate the differences between the measures Tukey test (P ≤ 0.05) was applied (p <0.01). The variables evaluated were germination percentage, number of dead plants at the end of the experiment (%), stem diameter, number of leaves, plant height, at 30, 60, 90 days after each application of Metalosatos ( chelates), Zinc, Magnesium patterns cacao (Theobroma cacao L.) CCN-51 and BMI-67. The results were 90.73 for germination and number of dead plants at the end of the experiment (%) was 88.66, the variable diameter stem best results were obtained interaction 90 days I present statistical difference (p <0.01), especially with a higher average 0,77 Zinc x CCN 51. for the number of sheets which was presented highest average Zinc x CCN 51con a value of 13.07 to 90 days. In height 90 days an average of 24.38 cm was obtained.
