| Περίληψη: | The purpose of this research was to evaluate the level of impact of Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) on the service management of the Decentralized Autonomous Government of the San Carlos Rural Parish in the year 2022. Explanatory, descriptive, and case study methods were used, as well as analytical, deductive, and inductive approaches. The president of the Decentralized Autonomous Government of the San Carlos Rural Parish was interviewed, and satisfaction surveys were conducted among a sample of the parish's inhabitants to gauge the level of acceptance and satisfaction with the services offered by the Parochial GAD. The results indicate that several services offered by the Parochial GAD to the citizens were improved and modernized thanks to the implementation and use of ICTs. These include the creation of an institutional website to improve citizen services and the establishment of an Infocenter and free Wi-Fi zones. However, the effectiveness of digital services is limited by certain issues, including technical problems with the website, the quality of internet service in the Wi-Fi zones, and lack of dissemination of the Infocenter. Citizen satisfaction, despite recognizing the significant contribution of implementing ICTs in the management of the Parochial GAD, is affected by the poor quality of some of these services. Improvements are needed to ensure the inclusion of people with disabilities and significant improvements in management and service delivery. |
