סיכום: | Musa (Musa spp.) Are a very important food for the people of Latin America and the world, to be part of the diet and income. Cultivars of bananas, baby bananas and plantains are important sources of income and diet of Ecuadorians. Musa by its characteristics and genetic conditions should not possess seeds and vegetative propagated in large scale multiplication is done through biotechnology. The ability of multiplication of cultivars mentioned this investigation where it was proposed to determine the ability of in vitro propagation from meristem culture elite individuals banana, and orito producers selected fields was proposed. This study was carried out in the laboratory of biotechnology INIAP Pichilingue Tropical Experimental Station. 18 accessions of banana, banana nine and seven orito were evaluated, the results were analyzed using a completely randomized design with unequal number of repetitions. The separation of means was performed using the Tukey test and further testing was performed to compare T cultivars under study. The percentage of contamination variables, number of sprouts per meristem (DRD) (NBPD) (NPE) were recorded. Variations in the percentage of contamination and number of outbreaks during the chimes made meristem found. however further contamination was observed on the first ring being the most affected banana cultivar until the sixth peal farming orito reported the highest percentage with bananas. Regarding the number of outbreaks by meristem, it was observed in average growing baby bananas accounted for the largest number (110), followed by bananas (34) and banana (33). Breaking the dominance was similar for all cultivars with 28 days. Regarding the total number of outbreaks, Orito obtained the highest value 136. In conclusion, the collected and multiplied cultivars, Orito was the most appropriate to multiply this methodology, which generates recommend other concentrations and methodologies are tested to increase the productivity of banana and plantain cultivars.
