Diseño de un plan de interpretación ambiental para la isla portete del cantón Muisne provincia de Esmeraldas

This work constitutes a design of an interpretation plan for the environmental Portete Island, Muisne district Through the field research to identify the natural tourist attractions and cultural events that owns the island with the implementation of tabs in the MINTUR y ABACO, And a survey work applied to the different visitors who arrived to the island to determine the profile of the tourist and that requires to be more interesting and represent a true permanent service then the realization of a script that includes interpretative to natural sites already identified and the cultural expressions followed by a package tour for two types of tastes one of full day And another a little more scientific because it is going to perform the activity of monitoring of turtles. This paper presents suggestions on management and monitoring of services in the future. The identified natural tourist attractions on the island are: the mangrove forest, the beach, the Island Júpiter and the village; The cultural attractions are; the history of Portete, The feast of the black, the feast of the Virgen de Las Lajas among others; the profile of tourists in this area reflects who prefer to travel for leisure and recreation, they prefer to use experiential activities, extreme sports and some want to know about the history of the island; In the plan of environmental interpretation are identified the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats, it is also proposed as appropriate interpretive media panels, brochures, signage, guided activities and trails self-guided; two tourist packages with their scripts and interpretative costs.
