| الملخص: | This study addresses the development of an intelligent system for vehicular traffic management, employing advanced technologies in vehicular communication networks. It focuses on the use of Dedicated Short-Range Communications (DSRC) and VANET V2V topology to optimize vehicular flow in the Quevedo canton. Through an exploratory methodological approach that includes dynamic simulations and the application of specific metrics such as Packet Delivery Ratio (PDR), Delay, and Throughput, a comparison is made with other traffic management technologies, such as wireless sensor networks and image processing. The system based on DSRC and VANET V2V stands out for its superior flexibility, precision, and reliability. The ability to efficiently transmit alert messages in emergency situations through V2V communication underscores the viability of DSRC in urban environments. This analysis highlights the importance of advancing research in vehicular communication networks to address the challenges of urban traffic. The expansion of research, the integration of complementary technologies, and the development of public policies that promote the implementation of these innovative solutions in vehicular traffic management are proposed. |
