Sumario:This project was carried out in the company Tecnoblock S.A., located in the parish of San Carlos Km 14, Cantón Quevedo, in the province of Los Ríos – Ecuador, and aims to carry out measurements and assessments of occupational risks to establish measures control and/or prevention thereof. This research contains the guidelines for the Technical Management of Occupational Risks, in which the hazards were identified and the risks arising from them, through the matrix GTC – 45 (Colombian Technical Guide), for the purpose of determining the acceptability of risk and propose prevention criteria. In addition, methods and use of calibrated measuring instruments were applied respectively, in accordance with the risk that the assessment was not acceptable or acceptable with specific control; for noise was proceeded to measure the sound levels (dB), with the sonometer and for the lighting levels with the luxometer, these measurements were made at each workstation, using the respective applicable current regulations. For mechanical risk assessment the WILLIAN FINE method was used; REBA, OWAS and OCRA methods were used for ergonomic hazards, and based on the results obtained, those risks detrimental to the health of exposed workers were determined to mitigate and control the risks encountered. Once the risk assessment has been carried out using the GTC – 45 matrix, it was determined that 27% of the risks assessed are acceptable, while 45% of them are acceptable with specific control and the remaining 28% are not acceptable, based on this, unacceptable or acceptable risks are assessed with specific control according to the assessment method for each type of occupational risk. Keyword. Evaluation, identification, evaluation methods, control measures, mitigation.
