Impactos antropogénicos que inciden en la capacidad de absorción visual del paisaje de la Laguna del Quilotoa, Ecuador.

Ամփոփում:On numerous occasions, the validity of landscape assessment methods to provide solutions that encompass the concept in all its complexity has been questioned (Velázquez et al., 2012). In this virtue, the present investigation arises from the lack of studies that allow assessing the components that are part of the landscape units from the establishment of qualitative - quantitative aspects, for this the objective of the research project is to determine the main anthropogenic impacts that affect the visual absorption capacity of the landscape units of the Quilotoa lagoon, located in the Zumbahua parish of the Pujilí canton of the Cotopaxi province. The methodology is based on the application of the Bureau of Land Management (B.L.M) method that allowed to establish the measurement of attributes in the landscape, allowing to determine the main anthropogenic impacts present in the contour and the internal part of the lagoon, accompanied by the lack of knowledge about the management, conservation and restructuring of this natural resource, among them 34.2% of the informants state that deforestation is the main cause of degradation of these areas, followed by 21.1% who are in favor of livestock, while 18.4 % lean towards agriculture; these being the main activities that have modified the landscape units. Being able to conclude that the Quilotoa lagoon presents a very fragile landscape according to the analysis of the quality of visual absorption. It is important to establish new forestation alternatives to improve the biotic and abiotic component, in addition to establishing agrosilvopastoril systems that allow improving agricultural and livestock exploitation in order to reduce the environmental, social and economic impacts that occur in the place.
