| Резюме: | This study analyzes the impact of the work environment on the productivity of public servants in the National Police of the Quevedo District during 2023. The institution faces critical issues such as insufficient infrastructure, inadequate equipment, high levels of stress, excessive workload, and unequal distribution of personnel. The primary objective was to determine how the work environment affects staff productivity. The project employed a qualitative and quantitative approach to examine the work environment and productivity. Descriptive, explanatory, and exploratory research methods were utilized to identify factors, analyze causes, and guide future studies. Inductive, deductive, and historical-logical methods facilitated data analysis and policy evolution, providing a foundation for improvements. The findings indicate that physical and psychological conditions require enhancement to mitigate labor risks. Imbalances in personnel distribution persist, with high intrinsic motivation (3.53) but average job satisfaction (2.92). While protocols and training are adhered to, there are shortcomings in crime reduction (60%), highlighting a gap between strategic planning and operational execution. The hierarchical structure limits personal initiatives, leading to an inadequate workload distribution and health issues related to stress, ultimately impacting institutional performance. It is recommended to implement a comprehensive labor welfare program to improve infrastructure and equipment, equitably redistribute personnel, establish incentive systems, strengthen communication channels, encourage staff participation, and develop an occupational welfare program focused on reducing stress and monotony in the workplace. |
