Sumario:This research work was carried out on the farm "San Carlos", located at Km 28 via Quevedo - Santo Domingo, whose geographical coordinates are as follows: 79 ° 29 'west longitude and 0 ° 52' south latitude at an altitude of 120 meters. The investigation lasted 90 days. The management of the trial was conducted according to the specifications established for the management of Brachiaria grass. Raised the overall objective: To evaluate the productive performance of Brachiaria grass (Brachiaria decumbens) in three doses of manure solids and specific: a) Determine the agronomic performance of Brachiaria grass (Brachiaria decumbens) with organic fertilizer, b) Check the treatment with the highest nutritive value of Brachiaria grass (Brachiaria decumbens) and c) establish the benefit / cost of the treatments under study. Subject to the assumptions: a) The dose of 1500 kg h-1 presented the best performance of biomass / h-1 in the grass Brachiaria decumbens, b) The best nutritional value will be reached with the dose of 1500 kg h-1 of compost c) With the dose of 1500 kg h-1 will get the best benefit / cost ratio. Using doses of 1000 and 1500 kg ha-1 compost AGROPESA solid was obtained a higher yield of green forage biomass, dry biomass feedstocks, number of leaves, fresh weight of stem, leaf and plant, as well as a greater leaf width and length, compared to the control and the dose of 500 kg ha-1. Yields of green forage biomass (kg MV ha-1), Dry forage biomass (kg DM ha-1), plant height, leaf number, leaf length and width of leaves, is increasing as the age increases court, being the age of 75 days cut that higher yields in these variables presented. Forage biomass production (kg DM ha-1) treatment with 1500 kg ha-1 compost AGROPESA (4367,6 kg DM ha-1) was higher (P <0.05) than control treatment and 500 kg ha-1 compost AGROPESA. The protein content of grass increased with increasing levels of organic fertilizer. However diminished as age increased court.
