El microcrédito y su aporte al desarrollo económico y financiero del cantón Quevedo, año 2012

Microcredit is a tool aimed at the micro credit entrepreneurs and aim to contribute to the productive development and the eradication of poverty worldwide, this research project seeks to determine the economic and financial contribution both Quevedo Canton by microcredit granted by financial institutions of the county. Among the main methods used in the research is the analytical method, the method of synthesis and the inductive method. The type of research used is descriptive and correlational, where to meet the latter is used the statistical technique of correlation coefficient known as "Pearson's r" that develop it yields a value that measures the degree of relationship between two variables. This establishes that there is a direct relationship between the microcredit portfolio and economic growth of the county. We also carried out an analysis of the microcredit portfolio of financial institutions supervised by the Superintendency of Banks and Insurance thus determining that there was a growth in this portfolio for the period 2012. Moreover it was found that the beneficiaries of microcredit enjoy a better standard of living compared to non-beneficiaries.
