總結:The present research work it performed during the rainy season of the year 2012 - 2013 at the Hacienda "Manderley", located in the Km 6 via Quevedo - The Splice against Pichilingue Experiment Station (lNlAP), Quevedo, Ecuador. It aimed to evaluate the agronomic performance of five maize hybrids, three commercials set in the market (2B and 2B 688 604) from Dow AgroSciences and DK 399 Monsanto Company introduced two hybrid and non-commercial research company Dow AgroSciences (DAS-3383, 30A91) with two planting systems (traditional vs. Rows double), with four population densities. The first density of 66 666 pl./ha-1 comprises a distance of 16,60 cm 90 cm between plants and between streets, the second of 73 333 pl./ha-1 of 15,10 cm 90 cm between plants and between streets, the third 79 999 pl./ha-1 is 13,80 cm between plants and 90 cm between the street and the fourth with the new seeding system with 80 000 pl./ha-1, ie at a distance of 20 cm between rows, 27,70 cm between plants and 70 cm between street. In the present work experimental units field will be used considering the densities, with an area of 18 m2 (5m x 3,60 m), the plot consist four separate rows (0.9 m). The data obtained from two central rows (rows helpful 9m2). We used a completely randomized design with two-factor arrangement, A = B = density x hybrid with four replicates, to determine differences between treatments with the two planting systems applied Tukey test (P ≤ 0.05). The variables evaluated were: days of silking, plant height, insertion of ear, percentage of root lodging and stalk, cobs and uniform coverage, and percentage of diseased pods rot, length, diameter and number of rows in the ears , grains damaged by insects and fungi, moisture and weight of 100 seeds and yields Kg./ha.
