Descripció
Sumari:The research project was carried out at the State Technical University of Quevedo of the "La María" Experimental Farm, located at kilometer 7 ½ of the Vía Quevedo-El Empalme in the province of Los Ríos. The objective is to characterize and georeference the physical properties of the Eutric Fluvisols soils of agricultural use of the UTEQ "La María". To know the present peculiarities of the different sites of interest and implanted crops for agricultural use, on the surface and the horizons of soil profile in pits in the months of June and July 2018. The specific objectives were: Determine the density of the soil ( apparent and real) with porosity, moisture content and gravimetric water. Identify the different textural classes and size of the aggregates that the soil has. Perform colorimetric coding on wet basis and dry base of soil samples. Perform the georeferencing of the experimental sites on the map of the "La María" farm. In this investigation, 2 phases were considered with a duration of 3 months, between the collection and preparation of the samples, and the laboratory phase where methodologies were used in the determination of the different variables. A Completely Random Design (DCA) was used with 20 treatments where each horizon and surface had 3 repetitions. The results were analyzed in the statistical program InfoStat, and subjected to the Tukey test at 95% probability. Where these results were plotted on a georeferenced map. The soil of the corn crop (T2) presented apparent density values of 0.85 g / cm3 and real density of 1.95 g / cm3. The soil of the Savoy grass crop (T20) with a porous space of 61%. The soil of the cocoa crop (T12) a moisture content of 64%. In the texture analysis, 85% of the surface soils of the "La María" farm have a soil texture of the frank type.
