Beskrivelse
Summary:In the Experimental Farm "La María", Faculty of Animal Science in Creole Bird Program State Technical University of Quevedo (UTEQ), located at km 7 via Quevedo-The Junction, Canton Mocache, this work was entitled "Determining the chicken productive behavior based guarico normal grazing and earthworms California, supplemented with more flour mulberry balanced" with a duration of 56 days (August to October 2012). Performance parameters were: feed intake (g), weight gain (g), feed conversión, carcass yield (%), TGI morphometric measurements, carcass organoleptic analysis (breast) and cost of treatment for which were used 60 unsexed chicks, ten treatments, six replicates, one bird per experimental unit. Design was a randomized complete block (RCBD) in factorial arrangement (A x B) (A = 2 grazing areas B = 4 levels balanced) plus two controls (100% maize). The results of this work were submitted to analysis of variance (ANOVA) for comparisons of treatment means was used Tukey test (P <.05). The birds that consumed the complete diet (100% BHM) reported higher consumption and weight gain, the best feed conversión the birds were consuming 25% of the ration (BHM). All treatments had a different behavior (P <0.05) indicators weight (g), carcass weight (g). The carcass yield (%) and morphometric characteristics in all treatments behaved statistically similar. The sensory profile of chicken meat produced under conditions of association between grazing, meat worm and mulberry meal inclusion in the balanced in terms of flavor, color, texture and overall appearance was very pleasant to drink. The birds that consumed 100% corn (control) recorded higher net beneficial, benefit-cost and cost-effectiveness. Keywords: California red worm, ration, sensory, morphometric, bare neck.
