| Summary: | Hodgkin lymphoma is a type of cancer that originates in the lymphatic system, which is a part of the body's immune system. It is characterized by the presence of abnormal cells called Reed-Sternberg cells, which are large and multinucleated. These abnormal cells develop in the lymph nodes and can affect other organs. The purpose of this case study was to propose a nursing care plan for the patient with Hodgkin's Lymphoma by collecting data through the assessment of Marjory Gordon's functional patterns, to establish individualized care, focused on comprehensive nursing care. . The objective is to develop nursing care plans for a patient with Hodgkin's Lymphoma, through the development of nursing care processes or plans, identifying diagnoses through functional patterns, throughout the disease process in conjunction with the treatment established for their recovery, among which we highlight the control of nausea and emesis produced by the chemotherapy and radiotherapy treatment, management of stress related to the fear of their illness and avoiding the risk of infection related to loss of blood. defense |
