Summary:The present research aims to evaluate the impact of real estate advice on real estate decision-making by the inhabitants of the city of Quevedo. So that customers can acquire a good safely, reliably and under the best purchase parameters. Bibliographic, applied and descriptive research was used as methods: inductive, deductive and analytical; the technique applied to the online survey. According to the results, there is a potential market that can still be exploited if a better service is provided; Well, 42% of the respondents are renting, the acquisition of the houses is with their own resources, answered 42% of the citizens; being the economic factor that makes the possible purchase of a good impossible. Citizens prefer modern infrastructures, security, a good environment in residential areas, shops and green areas; 84% of citizens say that they would hire a real estate consulting company, 58% consider that the factor that affects decision-making is the high cost of housing. There are different means to carry out an advisory, but they prefer face-to-face and personal advice. A business plan as a proposal would have an advisory cost of $ 26.00, this fulfills the expectations of the users; In addition, through the financial cash flow a positive income is observed. It is recommended to offer differentiating advice with strategies that facilitate processes and reduce time, according to purchasing needs. Keywords: Real estate, companies, strategy, marketing
