Respuesta de un promotor de crecimiento en cerdos criollos en la fase de crecimiento

This research was conducted at the experimental farm "La Maria" in Swine Production Program, part of the State Technical University of Quevedo (UTEQ), located at km 7 of the road Quevedo - El Empalme. The effect of growth promoting Flavomycin on three levels, with the following treatments were evaluated: (T1) without the use of growth promoter; (T2) with the addition of 300 g / ton of feed; (T3) with 500 g / ton and (T4) with 700 g / ton. A completely randomized design (CRD) with four replications was applied. As regards to the variable intake of total weekly food no difference was expressed significant (p≥0.05), including study treatment for his counterpart if numerical difference existed since the treatment was the lowest index gained 2.55 to T3 with the first week while treatment with T4 10.02 to the sixth week had the higher rate. For this variable there was no statistically significant difference but numerical since the absolute value was 1.82 in the first week T2 while the less favorable was 4.94 in Q3 regarding weekly feed conversion and overall
