Gaia:This research was conducted at the National Institute of Agricultural Research (INIAP) Tropical Station Pichilingue, located at kilometer 5 of the Quevedo route - El Empalme, Canton Quevedo, Los Rios Province Republic of Ecuador and lasted 5 months (April-August 2016). the method suitable planting for the production of certified corn hybrid triple INIAP H-551 seeds was determined, planting of the three treatments with six replicates, which consisted of distributions 1: 3 which consisted of planting 4 males seeds and six females seeds (T1), 1: 4 who settled in the planting of 4 male seeds eight seeds females (T2), 1: 5, which was based on the planting of 4 male seeds and 10 seeds females (T3). one DBCA was applied. The variables recorded were: rows of kernels per cob (HGM), which existed no significant differences according to Tukey test (p ≤ 0.05) between treatments, length of ears (LM), which showed that there was no statistical significance applying the Tukey test (p ≤ 0.05) per distributions, ear diameter without bracts (DMB), where it was shown that the highest average distribution was found in 1: 4 (T2) with 4,21 cm being statistically different from the distribution 1: 5 (T3) with 4.05 cm which recorded the lowest value according to Tukey test (p ≤ 0.05), ear weight (MW) distribution was observed that 1: 4 (T2) had the highest average with 126.95 g being statistically different from the distribution 1: 3 (T3) with 116.38 g according to Tukey test (p ≤ 0.05), weights 100 seeds (PCS) which is not evidenced significant between treatments according to the test Tukey (p ≤ 0.05) cost of treatment (CT) noting that production costs amount to 954.10 ; 1,199.16 and $ 1,442.97 for treatments T1 , T2 and T3 respectively, while revenues correspond to 9557.14 ; 11,628.14 and $ 12,733.70 respectively. These data enabled profitability for each of the treatments under study determined that the best treatment was the T1 with 902 % return, followed by T2 with 870 % and finally the T3 with 782 % return . In any case, all treatments were profitable , however , because the T1 reported lower costs get the best return.
