Description
Summary:Soybean cultivation is one of the main export crops in the country, the purpose of this research was to evaluate the efficiency of growth-promoting microorganisms in soybean cultivation. The research was carried out at the Technical University of Quevedo on the La María Campus, using a DBCA Randomized Complete Block Design, evaluating four growth-promoting microorganisms, Mix PGPR, Rhizobium, Biol, Chemical plus control treatment. The variables evaluated were: plant height, number of nodules, fresh and dry weight of nodules, chlorophyll content and root length. In the results obtained there were no statistical differences for plant height and root length. For the number of nodules per plant there were significant statistical differences for Treatment 1 (Mix PGPR) which with 6.90 nodules/plant was higher than the other treatments evaluated, This same treatment (Mix PGPR), in the variables wet weight of nodules (0.41 g), dry weight of nodules (0.22 g) and chlorophyll content (16.45 μmoles/m²), presented the highest averages, being significantly higher than the rest of the treatments. It was determined that the amount of microorganism used (37.85 l/ha) presented by treatment 1 (Mix PGPR) has greater results in the aerial and root part of the plant.
