Plan de desarrollo y su incidencia en la toma de decisiones de la carrera de ingeniería industrial de la Faculta de Ciencias de la Ingeniería de la Universidad Técnica Estatal de Quevedo, periodo 2012-2015.

The present investigation has as objective the elaboration of the development plan and its incidence in the annual financial cost for student of the career of engineering industry period 2012 - 2015. He/she was carried out the investigation through the survey where you ended up determining the nonexistence of a development plan in the career of Industrial Engineering that was constituted as the first indicator of the investigation. It was also identified the elements orientadores for the development of the insurance of the quality in the career. While in the internal diagnosis he/she allowed to carry out an exhaustive analysis of the strengths and weaknesses to improve the academic level with an eye toward the accreditation where it was possible to determine that the Approach Supports Pedagogic it is a strength whose specific weight represents 20% of the pattern, of that which the career has an utility of 85%, being generated an execution of the 17%, and consequently a breach of 30%. With the signal utility the approach Supports Pedagogic it is Strength. In the Approach Academy he/she was a weakness the biggest difficulty it resides in the Subsubcriterio" Formation" that he/she has 0 execution%, since the career lacks of educational with title of PHD; however there are other such important weaknesses as Dedication and Relevancy. The external diagnosis allowed carrying out a meticulous analysis of the opportunities and threats of the career, where alone it is evidenced opportunities in all the environments like they are political, social, technological, professional, competitive, and economic.
