Shrnutí:This research aims to conduct a performance audit and its relationship in decisions taking of the company Gas "SERVICENTRO QUEVEDO", for which we have proceeded to assess compliance with policies and standards, internal control, management indicators calculation and an audit report. The methods used in this research were deductive, analytic, descriptive and inductive applied in a customer survey, interviewing the manager and internal control questionnaire. Among the conclusions of this research can be detailed as follows: The Gas Station "SERVICENTRO QUEVEDO" fulfills all its rules and policies. In the evaluation of internal control a confidence level of 94% and a risk level of 6% was obtained. In addition, the gas station "SERVICENTRO QUEVEDO" has identified eight indicators 11 indicators of efficiency and economy. However only 50% of the performance indicators and 54% of economic indicators are calculated. Finally, the report Performance Audit is presented to the Administrator a series of findings and recommendations related to the issues mentioned in the above points in order to facilitate decision-making, and thus to improve the management of the institution audited.
