Efecto de la aplicación de Muriato de Potasio y Microorganismos eficientes (EM) en el cultivo de Banano (Musa AAA) en el periodo de floración a cosecha, en la zona de Quevedo.

Low productivity in banana cultivation is mainly due to non-sustainable fertilization programs that do not meet the requirements required by this crop, so productivity is low and is not in line with the expectations of the producer. The lack of potassium (k) is manifested mainly in the cluster by having low weight, it is hands with short, slender fingers and very susceptible to early maturity. To the lack of efficient microorganisms plants do not secrete substances, there is no synthesis of amino acids, nucleic acids, vitamins and other bioactive substances that favor the nutrition of plants. This research was carried out from the month of January 2017 until March 2017, in lands of the Corporation Noboa, Hcda "Hill of the Oranges" located in the area of Quevedo-Los Ríos. We used the completely random design formed by 6 treatments (5 doses of Muriato de K plus em and a control). The experimental unit was composed of 5 plants for each repetition (3 replicates) that were labeled for evaluation and that had the same characteristics, on which the treatment of doses of fertilisers was applied. The T1 with doses of Muriato de K (133.33 g/plant) plus EM (26.66 cc/planta) obtained the highest profit/cost ratio (2.73) with a profitability of 173.10%, followed by T2 with doses of Muriato de K (100 g/Plant) plus EM (26.66 cc/Plant) that reached a profit of $1.62 for every dollar invested, unlike the other treatments that presented lower returns and unlike the witness that only generated a profitability of 80.73% is to say $0.81 for every dollar invested.
