| Shrnutí: | This research study was conducted to identify the main factors that influence the nutritional status of children under 5 years of age, where through a questionnaire of questions was socialized on the level of knowledge that had the parents caregivers of children in relation to the nutrition they provide to their children, which based on the results of their response we were able to show that not all caregivers of children have sufficient knowledge of how to provide good nutrition to their children, The economic level is one of the main factors that influence the malnutrition of children under 5 years of age that were studied, as well as the environmental factor influences a lot, since living in an inadequate environment, it attributes to their children also being carriers of other diseases. The research was conducted with 90 parents or caregivers representing the children, which also show that they are interested in educating themselves on the subject of good nutrition, thus providing their children with a better lifestyle. The survey conducted with parents and caregivers of children under 5 years of age studied favored us since obtaining a percentage in each question helps us to investigate the problem and to be able to create solutions for the prevention of the disease and to encourage the children to eat a better lifestyle.
