Итог:The present work is developed in order to propose the design of an industrial building for the workshops and laboratories of the Faculty of Engineering Sciences, as a first step to begin the design a study was proposed where the needs of the faculty are reviewed in have laboratories, at that point it was determined that laboratories should have said structure, with different research methods defined the number of laboratories for the faculty, in addition to serving such laboratories as careers would benefit them. As a second point, the dimensioning, distribution and location of these laboratories is shown, for this the study mentioned above is considered based on the number of workshops, the area that welcomes the needs and capacities of said laboratories is considered, the location will be determined by geographical analysis of the Experimental Estate La María. One of the most important points that will be seen in this work is the dimensioning of the structure or industrial building, which will be shown by means of a load simulation in the Sap2000 software, using the Ecuadorian construction standard NEC-2015. The aforementioned standard considers loads and coefficients for structural analysis, it should be mentioned that the design method by load factor and resistance LRFD or also called the design method by limit state will be used. Finally, this work presents the raw material costs and costs of execution or assembly of the industrial building, specifying the type and quantity of material calculated by weight in the simulation of the Sap2000 program.
