Aplicación de fitohormonas en el cultivo de brocoli (Brassica oleracea l.)

This research work was made in order to evaluate the effect of phytohormones for growth in the cultivation of broccoli in the tamer variety (Brassica oleracea l.) to determine the best dose of phytohormones in this crop and the cost benefit of each treatments. The hormonal product used was Vigofort (cytokinins). This research is performed in the Santa Isabel in the 3 ½ miles of the road from San Felipe - Saquisilí located in the San Vicente district of the parish Poaló Canton Latacunga in Cotopaxi province at an altitude of 2896.2 msm . And whose geographic location is 0 º 52 '00.97''south latitude and 78 º 39' 00.27''west longitude research lasted 90 days. For the present research design was used a randomized complete block (RCBD) with four treatments and four replications. For the difference between treatment means was used multiple range test of Tukey to 5% of probability. The coefficient of variation is expressed as a percentage. From the results it provides that the application of phytohormones (Vigofort) in the production of broccoli in the tamer variety (Brassica oleracea l.) in different physiological stages of crop production positive change. That the best Vigofort application rate, was obtained, for T1 (0.5 cc/L-1 water), where they could show a significant increase especially in regard to the study variables weight of head and overripe, as these are very important for quality rating according to the tolerances allowed by the company Ecofróz and which defines the final price broccoli. The benefit cost of T1 has the highest return per dollar invested USD.
