Aggiungi Tag | Riassunto: | The purpose of the research carried out was the evaluation of social, economic and environmental indicators in the urban area of the Valencia canton in order to know if they meet the parameters to be considered a sustainable city. The research design has a quantitative approach, the type of research is descriptive exploratory, the primary sources were taken in the field and the secondary ones correspond to literary information on the subject, the baseline was carried out with information from the PDOT of the Valencia canton and surveys carried out. to a sample of 376 people in the urban area; while the indicators were composed of 27 classified into 4 axes and seven areas that are weighted 0, 5 and 10 points. The results regarding the perception of citizens showed that the issue of urban sustainability is a new and unknown term in a large part of the population, it is evident that a large part of the population is neutral on the subject, but if they are willing to receive training to learn more about the subject.
