| Резюме: | This work is involved into the effort of Breeding Cocoa Program of EET –Pichilingue, which is developing many years ago to evaluate cocoa genotypes high performance, characterized by high yield, industrial quality and the most wanted: high diseases resistance specially witches broom and frosty pod rot; both are the principal restriction factor of cocoa crop in Central and South America. For this test, the hybrid plants were stay in nursery until three months, then were put inside a selected cocoa plantation with high infection of witches broom, for eighteen months else to evaluate. All these plants were cloned and then were planted in definitive field for manage by a Complete Aleatory Blocks Design in two repetitions. The treatments were involved 79 different genotypes, and there were descriptors like Canopy form (FC), Plant vigor (V), Height plant (AP), Trunk diameter (DT), Amount of vegetative brooms (EBveg), Amount of cushion brooms (EBcojin), Amount of “chirimoya” fruits (Fchir), Amount of healthy pods (MS), Amount of diseased pods (ME), Amount of “cherelle wilt” fruits (CHwilt), Fresh weight (PF), Productive efficience (EP), Pod rate (IM) and Bean rate (IS). With the goal of know about the most important variable in group formation, it was used a Principal Component Analysis and for know the phenotypic variability in a clones group it was used a Cluster Analysis with Ward Method obtaining a Dendrogram which define four principal groups, that shows the variability between different genotypes in order to similarity levels. For choose the best group, a Variance Analysis was applied between groups, and for identify the clones with the best economic attributes a internal study of two best groups was made join a Dendrogram whit a Principal Components Analysis. The preselected clones for have a high quantity of attributes that contribute for its economic valoration are INIAPT-374 (Group 1); y el INIAPT-484, INIAPT-533, INIAPT-632, INIAPT-405, INIAPT-641, INIAPT-302, INIAPT-561, INIAPT-656, e INIAPT-573 (Group 2). |
