Likewise this is more delicate and demanding of nutrients, why should implement fertilization programs early on to meet the initial requirements. The use of arbuscular mycorrhiza forming fungi (AMF) is presented today as a technique to enhance the absorption of phosphorus and other nutrients from low solubility and mobility in soil . These typically produce structures called in all cases arbuscles vesicles and most of them . Using this type of microorganisms is plated as a strategy for better development of plants in its infancy , so this research was proposed, aimed to assess the combined effect of mycorrhizae and early nutrition phosphorus on development, seedling vigor and quality of bananas, to this the efficacy of two methods mycorrhizal inoculation was tested and further determine the effect of levels of a phosphorus fertilizer based on development, seedling vigor and quality . Design completely randomized factorial arrangement was used and variables as number and size of the roots , plant height and diameter , number of leaves and leaf area were recorded in addition to quality parameters of plants as index Dickson quality and slenderness ratio . The effect of applying directly to the soil when planting and banana roots , four doses of fertilizer MESZ® ECOFUNGY® product was studied and nutrient uptake by plant was measured through a foliar analysis. As conclusions of the research it was found that better results were achieved with the direct method to the soil when planting; the best fertilizer application rate was 20 grams in variables such as number of roots , plant height , pseudostem diameter and leaf area . Nutrient absorption was greater when any of the fertilizer levels MESZ® the roots and direct inoculation was applied .
