Sammanfattning:This research was carried out in the tropical rain forest Payamino, located in San José de Payamino, Loreto, Timburi-Cocha Scientific Station. The general objective of the research was to evaluate the floristic composition and structure of the tropical humid forest in the altitudinal floor at 300 - 400 ms.n.m from San José de Payamino parish, which included determining the floristic composition of the tropical rainforest, analyzing the structure and determining the species that present a hazard category, these objectives were met through a diagnostic investigation by identifying the establishment of transects. The method implemented was descriptive with a focus on the objectives of the evaluation of the floristic composition and structure present in the forest. The information used in the investigation was from primary sources. As a result, a total record of 272 individuals was obtained, comprising 40 families, 122 species, the family with the highest number of species was Moraceae with 12 species (9.76%). The abundance at the family level with the largest number of individuals is Arecaceae with 36 individuals (13,24), in species it was Iriartea deltoidea Ruiz & Pav. with 35 individuals (12.87%). The family with the highest IVIF is Myristicaceae (10.39%), the IVI in species is Iriartea deltoidea Ruiz & Pav. (8.06%). The horizontal structure the interval with the highest number presented 167 individuals (10 - 19.99 cm), however the vertical structure was determined that the middle stratum is the representative range (200 individuals; basal area of 102.11 m2; volume 102, 11 m3). The diversity indices applied show a high diversity, Shannon –Weaver (4,281) and Simpson (0,970), the Sorense similarity index presented a low similarity percentage. The identified species are not within the IUCN registry because they are not evaluated (NE). Keywords: Floristic composition, structure, diversity index, similarity index.
