Implementación de un sistema de gestión de inventario y logística en base a la norma ISO 9001:2008 de la Empresa Indura Ecuador S.A. del cantón Quevedo, año 2014

This research was conducted at the company INDURA ECUADOR SA, Sucursal Quevedo, being a highly agricultural and industrial area, with a high demand for welding equipment, gases and industrial safety equipment, which ensured the company to open its doors in a highly productive market. The most common problems that the company faces, is inventory control, is that no one is aware of the importance of having sufficient and useful for minimizing operating costs of sales information, increase liquidity, maintain a level optimal inventory and begin using the technology with the consequent decrease in operating expenses. Therefore, he was born the idea of implementing a system of inventory management and logistics based on ISO 9001: 2008. The importance of this research lay in the implementation of such a system I offer competitive advantages that allowed the organization to address the opening of markets and the change in external environmental conditions. After analyzing the interpretation of data obtained in the investigation, it came to the following conclusions: That theme development represent an improvement to the entire inventory management system. Consideration of improving the system of inventory management, also improved the QMS (quality management system) of the organization, because the system of inventory management is based on the guidelines of QMS (quality management system) and they feed. Finally the training of staff of the company according to the suggestions with the new methods applied to the management of logistics and inventory control were performed. All this research was made possible its realization thanks to the opening of the directors of the company INDURA ECUADOR SA, who provided me with the necessary information for the development of the thesis.
