Rescate del conocimiento ancestral de plantas medicinales en el recinto "La Luz", cantón Palenque, año 2019

The ancestral knowledge, are part of the development of an integral life, are in charge of transmitting through parents and grandparents. Childhood, which is always accompanied by adults, is an important stage to strengthen the psychic and emotional development through the learning of this knowledge, making reference to the enrichment of our culture. For this reason, the research project entitled "Rescue of ancestral knowledge of medicinal plants in the" La Luz "enclosure, canton Palenque" was developed, with the main objectives being the diagnosis of the current situation of ancestral knowledge of the "La Luz" enclosure. Make an inventory of the medicinal plants present and design an informative guide. The development of the present investigation was carried out in the aforementioned enclosure. The research project had the purpose of determining the types of medicinal plants and their use, as well as to make known the curative value of the medicinal plants found in the study area. This material will serve to socialize the community about the properties that medicinal plants have for human health, making this practice be maintained in some families from generation to generation. The methodology used for the development of this project was based on the collection of information registered and provided by the population of the enclosure, with which a diagnosis was generated, which resulted in: the majority of the knowledge of the use of medicinal plants is defined in people over 80 years of age, and that, in most respondents, it is the female gender that dominates the issue. Among the species recorded, aloe was the one that was named the most due to its various medicinal uses. The information provided was used to carry out the inventory and the informative guide.
