Crynodeb:In our country, pasture and fodder are the staple food of cattle and other herbivores this is necessary to evaluate the agronomic performance and nutritional value of four varieties of Panicum maximum cultivar Savoy Common Savoy Tanzania cultivate, grow Tobiata Savoy, Savoy Dwarf cultivar in different stages of maturity and establish the nutritional value of the four varieties of grass Panicum maximum. This research raised the assessment of three factors under study: The factor (A) there were four Panicum maximum cultivars. (A1: Savoy common a2: Savoy Tanzania; a3: Dwarf Savoy, Savoy Tobiata a4, the factor (B), four ages of maturity (b1: 21, b2: 42, b3, 63, b4: 84) and the factor (C) the two seasons (rainy and dry) used a split plot design in randomized complete block, where the big plot or main varieties were small plots Savoy and ages of maturity in the two times of the year, we used five blocks (replicates) per treatment. the variables evaluated were: plant height, leaf and stem weight per plant, leaf: stem ratio and chemical composition. In the interaction of grass, ages and age showed the highest altitudes in Tanzania grass in the four ages of harvest, just as the grass Tanzania at 63 days in both seasons had the highest forage production (897.04 and 664.47 g), the weight of the grass leaves Tanzania at 42 (608.43, 450.69 g) and 63 days (414.48, 307.02 g) showed the highest values. The best relationships leaf: stem occurred in Tanzania and pasture at 21 days Tobiata trend continued up to 84 days. The highest values for leaf length and width were reported in Tanzania grass to 63 days in the rainy and dry. The best protein levels were reported in the grass Tobiata at 21 days in both seasons.
