| Résumé: | When referring to agro-socioeconomic, we refer to the variables that influence the people who are engaged in agricultural activity, being these, the position they occupy in society, what are the policies that are in their favor and in what environment do they live? , in the same way he talks about his economy, what benefits they provide and within which social stratum they are due to the economic income generated by agriculture. as a general objective: Prepare an Agro-socioeconomic diagnosis of the small farmers of the Los Marañones enclosure, Mocache canton. In order to obtain the information, a survey was carried out on 28 agricultural producers, who were asked questions related to the types of crops, the quality of the land in which their economy, main crop, yield level, production costs and the benefits achieved by farmers. The analysis of the results concludes the agricultural species produced by the small farmers of the Los Marañones enclosure; where 89% grow cocoa, 7% grow cocoa and corn and 4% cocoa and banana; 79% of farmers use water from estuaries to irrigate crops and 21% are supplied with rainwater; in the social aspect, 100% of farmers are men and 50% have primary education; 75% live in cement houses; the average yield of the corn crop is 150qq per hectare at a sale price of 10.50 generating an income of $ 1575 with a total cost of $ 1061 obtaining a yield of 48.44%; In the banana crop an average yield of 1100 bunches is obtained, it generates an income of $ 2200.00 at a total cost of $ 1401.00 at a net profit of $ 799.00 and a yield of 57.03%; cocoa cultivation has an average yield that varies from 26 to 25 quintals per hectare, with an income of 2558.89 to 2495.23 dollars with a total cost that varies from 1470.05 to 1336.35, a net profit of 1195 , 01 to 1088.84; giving a return that fluctuates from 89.40% to 74.07%, observing that the highest profitability is obtained in plantations that exceed four hectares and the lowest percentage in those plantations of less than two hectares.
