| Резюме: | The research was carried out in the Finca of Mr. Gerardo Jácome in the parish San Camilo of Quevedo, province of Los Ríos. The use of asexual propagation methods that guarantees health and characteristics to optimize production by the demand of international markets requires raising production volumes of pitahaya, but it is necessary to validate propagation processes using plant hormones based on the ANA and AIB. Thus, in this research two types of hormones ANA and AIB were evaluated for the asexual propagation in cuttings of the red pitahaya (Hylocereos undatus). The treatments evaluated were T0 (No Hormone), T1 (3000 ppm ANA + 3000 ppm AIB), T2 (3500 ppm ANA + 3500 ppm AIB) and T3 (4000 ppm ANA + 4000 ppm AIB) Which used a Completely Random Design (DCA) with four treatments and five replications per treatment. To determine the differences between means the Tukey test was applied. The best treatment was T2 (3500 ppm ANA + 3500 ppm AIB) with a higher rooting percentage of 98.00%; Number of outbreaks 1.86; Root length 21.39 cm; Weight of the root mass 36.82 g and mortality rate of 2.00% and with a profitability of 136%. Concluding that the use of these hormones has an effective physiological behavior in plants Cactácea. |
