要約:The present investigation was carried out in the company PLANTABAL 3A COMPOSITIES S.A, located in the canton Quevedo, belonging to the province of Los Ríos. It was proposed to determine the treatment with greater efficacy in the disinfection of substrate for the control of Fusarium spp under greenhouse in the balsa seedbed (Ochroma pyramidale). We proceeded to disinfect the substrates Compost of conventional raft and Substrate of pure earth, by means of steam, basamid and tindalization, analyzes of soil and microbial load were carried out, and finally the balsa seeds were sown. The 19 treatments were distributed in a complete randomized design (DCA), each treatment consisted of 1176 balsa seedlings distributed in 14 trays of 84 cavities each. In plants of 3.5 weeks of germination, phenotypic variables were evaluated, and for the effect, 98 plants were used per treatment (7 plants per tray). The lowest microbial load (bacteria and fungi) was recorded in the substrate Pure soil with basamid. The best substrate disinfection was determined in balsa compost with basamid disinfection in proportion (400 g / m3), surpassing the pure balsa compost (control). The highest percentage of germination was remarkable in balsa compost with disinfection to tindalization with a percentage of 99.49%. In the analysis of phenotypic variables, the best treatments were 3 and 9 Keywords: disinfection, raft, substrate, treatment
