Yhteenveto:Starting from a research and experimentation approach, it was obtained to extract the cellulose and starch components (biopolymers) by hydrolysis and dry method, both come from the husk of the cob and cocoa husk, they were added to a mixture of plasticizers to obtain bioplastic. 4 treatments were generated of which only one was acceptable, it was characterized with a 37% yield in cellulose; 7.14% and 16.67% in moisture and ash respectively, based on the bioplastic a sheet or film was obtained, this presented a moisture content of 33.33%, pH <7, thickness of 0.19mm suitable for the NTE INEN 2542, density of 0.83 g / cm3 and a percentage of biodegradability of 6%. After the laboratory tests, the production line was defined with the machines and equipment that involve the processes for obtaining cellulose and manufacturing bioplastic or biodegradable sleeves based on a market study that made it possible to know the acceptance of the one applied to packaging, It was estimated that initial demand would approach 5857 units per day, for which a requirement of 611 kg is established in the processing to obtain the cover whose yield is deducted by 79%, the final product is a cover with a handle design stamped, its weight would range between 82-83 grams and due to the intrinsic characteristics of cocoa its color is defined in coffee. To industrialize the mentioned product with the material generated in the investigation, an investment of $ 491,996.83 was estimated, the evaluation of financial indicators is summarized in a VPN of $ 4,820,989.64; cost benefit of $ 1.20 and an IRR of 31.38%, so it would be denoted as feasible considering that the price per unit of the covers would be $ 0.81. Keywords: Bioplastic, biodegradable, cellulose, production. xiv
