Summary:The purpose of this research work is to design and build a soursop pulping machine for the company ECUAGUANÁBANA located in the city of Quinsaloma, starting with the characterization of the soursop and by using the weighted criteria method, a better pulping system was selected by using paddles, taking into consideration the field of application in the food industry, which recommends the use of stainless steel. The necessary calculation parameters are determined for the design and selection of elements to be used for pulping, whose procedure begins with the selection of the fruit, cleaning and removal of the peel of the soursop, entering through the hopper and falls directly to the cutting blades placed on the main shaft, also make passing the pulping system consisting of 3 nylon scrapers forcing the pulp to pass through the sieve that falls by gravity to the output tray and the seeds that are expelled by the output duct. For the correct modeling of the different parts, assembly of the components and obtaining the drawings for the construction of the equipment, SolidWorks CAD software was used, obtaining favorable results that have allowed the total achievement of the objectives set out in this project, with results of an average of 314 kg/h and 25.75 % in waste, achieving the established production capacity.
