Description
Summary:The research was conducted at the Laboratory of Nutrition and Metabolism Rumiología (RUMEN) located at the Experimental Farm "La Maria" State Technical University of Quevedo (UTEQ). aerobic stability of silage grass savoy (PS) including agro-industrial residues passion fruit rinds (CM), pineapple (PI) and banana (PL) was evaluated. T1 evaluated the following treatments: PS 85%; T2: CM PS 85% + 15%; T3: PS 85% + 15% CPI and T4: CPL PS 85% + 15%. A completely random design (DCA) with four treatments and five repetitions and differences between means were the Tukey test (P≤ 0.05) was applied. Experimental microsilos were manufactured PVC pipe 3 kg capacity, once opened, the pH and temperature was determined every 24 hours for seven days. At 30 and 60 days of fermentation of silages the pH register differences (P<0.05) at 0; 24, 48 and 96 h, and at 24 and 48 h, being the treatment T2 which records the most efficient values (4.6, 4.7 and 4.8 - 4.5 and 5.0, in that order). Agroindustrial wastes not influenced (P>0.05) on the temperature of the microsilos evaluated. Keywords: fermentation, savoy grass, microsilos, agricultural residues
