| Sumari: | This research was based on the usability study of Tecnosmart Ecuador, 2016, which had as main objective to evaluate the usability level of their online store, to know if they meet the characteristics and needs of its visitors and clients. During the analysis of the problem we were detected several shortcomings that presented the website as broken links, problems of adaptability of the site to display contents in various mobile devices, another aspect to consider was the subject of corporate identity of the site, characteristic that did not correspond to the current use of image of the company, negatively inferring the perception of the online store. For the accomplishment of this research project we used tools and programs of web analysis that allowed to know the factors that influence in the ease of handling of a web site. Through the research methodology, data collection was carried out and through an online survey that was applied to the clients of Tecnosmart Ecuador using the Google Forms tool, which made it easy and online to ask questions that helped determine the degree of satisfaction of the users with respect to the website, where it was known that a high percentage (up to 52%) considers that the level of usability is not the most adequate. Through results obtained and their respective analysis it is known that a redesign of the website will greatly benefit the company, since customers will have an optimal, adaptable and easy way that allows them to quickly find their products by helping with purchasing decisions and boosting sales. For the foregoing, a proposal was made to redesign the website of Tecnosmart Ecuador to optimize the navigation, experience and permanence of fixed and potential users. |
