Sumari:The Quevedo river micro-basin has a high demand for consumption since there are large extensions of plantations of various species and require different irrigation systems, among the most used in the Quevedo area is the sprinkler system, this system needs large quantities of water pressure achieving efficiency in irrigation, but a greater consumption of water resources. (3) The adjacent sectors of the Quevedo river micro-basin have been affected by anthropic pressure that is related to urban expansion and water resources, allowing the decrease in flow to be eminent, this study shows the conditions of the basin del rio, the Quevedo canton has productive soils mostly dominated by agricultural crops
