| סיכום: | The research was carried out at the “La María” Campus, belonging to the Quevedo State Technical University, in the rumiology laboratory. The general objective of the study was the analysis of the chemical composition of silages King grass (Pennisetum hybridum) with different cutting ages (40, 50 and 60 days) and inclusion of pineapple rejection (Ananas comosus). In each micro silo, king grass was placed plus the inclusion of the pineapple rejection previously chopped at a particle size between ½ and 1 cm, in the control silages the vegetative materials were not combined. The following chemical variables were studied: dry matter content, inorganic matter content, crude protein content, energy content, neutral detergent fiber content and acid detergent fiber content; determining the following results. The highest value in dry matter content was recorded in T5 (king grass silage cut at 60 days + pineapple rejection), the highest inorganic matter content was recorded in T2 (pineapple rejection silage), in protein the highest average was recorded in treatment T1 (King grass silage cut at 50 days), followed by T3 (King grass silage cut at 40 days + pineapple rejection). The highest energy value was presented in T4 (King grass silage cut at 50 days + pineapple rejection). While the highest value in neutral detergent fiber and acid detergent fiber was determined in T5 (king grass silage cut at 60 days + pineapple rejection).
